Meet Satchmo
Satchmo is a 2 1/2 year old male who has been in our program for the past 3 weeks. He is a really sweet boy who just needs an owner who will spend some time with him. He loves people, does well with other dogs, walks nicely on a lead, but will need some continued work on house training. He has a seizure disorder that we have already had checked out by a specialist and will require meds that run about 25.00 a month. We have not seen a seizure in the 3 weeks he has been in foster care. We are hoping that being regulated on his meds they will be very few and far between. He bonds really quickly and just wants to be beside you!
NOTE. An anonymous person kindly donated enough money to cover a year of his medications for his adoptive family.

Meet Qiun
No, that's not a typo --it's really Qiun, pronounced "Quinn".
Another awesome dog has joined our rescue. He is about 4 years old, very busy, but willing to take a moment for a head scratch any time. Qiun is a gem. Kid and dog friendly, men and women friendly, and even cat friendly. A big guy, tipping the scales at 80 lbs or so. Knows 'sit' and 'stay', is leash trained but needs a refresher course. Incredibly handsome with one blue eye that burns a hole in your shirt as he looks at you, and well proportioned all over.
A genuinely nice dog, owner turn in through no fault of his own. Even is a good groomer - pretty rare with Sheepies. He slept in bed with the folks, and thought that was mighty fine. Qiun is a world traveler - born in New York, lived in Wisconsin, then Germany, then Colorado, all in 4 years. Microchipped, up to date on inoculations, and more than ready to go to a new home. This is another dog that seems to have no baggage - he just needs a loving home. Definitely a lover.
